a3 clients

i did all the step,from extractin the client and patch the file to the a3genesis folder.when i click the icon ora3.exe its say ''windows cannot access the specified device,path,or file.you may not have the appropriate permission to access them.''even when my avg is off.

thrend closed.

those that still have problem,please read/follow this step properly.

1.)extract a3 client
2.)extract the patch and override all the file to a3 client
3.)for avg user,open avg tray.on top click on component and click on resident shield.below there is a small box,just untick the things saying ''resident shield active'' or lf you doesnt want to off ur anti virus,just go to manage exceptions and add path,find a3folder then press ok.
4.)login to ur amt and download the a3 online patch.last is to extract the file to the folder by override.

i use norton on one pc and mcafee on another, both show same problem, as soon as you open file, they quarantine it!

gm, please look into the ora3.exe, is there seriously sm virus into it?

a3.exe...it says tht "cannot get vesion information from server". i downloaded the client jst 4days ago frm the download client option of the home page.
. wht shud i do now..? plz hlp me.

hey gm. sup..? man i jst logged in to bring it 2 ur notice tht the patch 2 update is virus affected man. i cudnt download it cz my antivirus blockd it. man check it out. itz a major problem. w8ing fr the patch 2 be cleaned so tht i can download it 2 play a3 genesis. ty . take cre. bye.

the patch is broken and also contains virus.. plz repair it gm. plz.. i am wating fr a week 2 play a3. bt i cant.. plzzz look in the matter..

there are no virus...just tat anti-virus will block .exe file
u just have to off ur anti-virus

i encountered the virus too. i disabled my AV. but am unable to run the A3 client still. my pc config is :

AMD dual core 1.8ghz 64 bit
Windows 7 pro x64
4GB DDR2
ATI mobility radeon hd 4650 - 1GB dedicated

can someone help me out here ?? i tried the compactiblity modes as well

go to your Antivirus and add the a3 folder as exception. so the antivirus will not scan that folder or file.

You cannot run is because is already Quarantine. you try to patch again. Do you know which file to run?
just in-case you don't know, you are to run the OrA3.exe not A3.exe

and i don't know A3Client able to run on 64bit or not. i haven't try it before. some one if you are running on 64bit win7 system please update us.

i got it started... to run in 64 bit system we need to keep all the graphic options on LOW and uncheck all the 4 options in the Options Menu. maybe u can put this info up somewhere so others may not have the same problem again. thanks

i wanna play genesis again...tell me frm wer to download the patch...coz the patch in the server website is of 2009...wer i get new patch frm??
